Creates a new zip entry with the specified name.

Parameters:

name - the entry name

Throws:

java.lang.NullPointerException - if the entry name is null

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException - if the entry name is longer than 0xFFFF bytes

ZipEntry

public ZipEntry(ZipEntry e)

Creates a new zip entry with fields taken from the specified zip entry.

Parameters:

e - a zip Entry object

public java.lang.String getName()

Returns the name of the entry.

Returns:

the name of the entry

setTime

public void setTime(long time)

Sets the modification time of the entry.

Parameters:

time - the entry modification time in number of milliseconds since "the epoch" (standard base time), namely January 1, 1970, 00:00:00 GMT. Negative is valid here to represent the time before "the epoch".

Sets the CRC-32 checksum of the uncompressed entry data.

Example:

 CRC32 crc32 = new CRC32();
 zipentry.setCrc(crc32.getValue());
 

It sets the CRC-32 value. This isn't strictly nessary for deflated entries, but is doesn't hurt.

Parameters:

crc - the CRC-32 value

Throws:

java.lang.IllegalArgumentException - if the specified CRC-32 value is less than 0 or greater than 0xFFFFFFFF
